Some of the (like 5) onions are starting to bulb out a bit more.

LiisaLiisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09106496040776722982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2367925220791150419.post-87331308434838947312009-06-20T19:19:13.055-07:002009-06-20T19:19:13.055-07:00Jenn,

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago and the guy I bought it from said it was a big banana plant (yeah thanks dude). He said it was the biggest plant. I have asked gardenweb people and they say it is the kind that you dont want to eat the bananas but this guy said they were good! Anyway, it looks exactly like yours so I was just wonderin' :) thanks!JenGChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13737415352788082656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2367925220791150419.post-9972362914269540342009-06-16T18:23:41.772-07:002009-06-16T18:23:41.772-07:00Momma_S,

Yes they are! I'm very happy how well the pumpkins are doing.

Granny... Thank you! The cucumbers are so darn good. I don't think I can go back to store bought.

Ribbit,
To answer the question "how deep do you plant onions?" My package of sets says 1 inch. Which is what I thought I did. I'm in line with Granny...the soft soil might be the issue. When watering in the sets I think they sank in a bit deeper as the soil settled. I will try them again next year but will pat down the soil a bit to ensure they stay where I planted them.

LiisaLiisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09106496040776722982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2367925220791150419.post-62411667561289867952009-06-16T12:06:26.188-07:002009-06-16T12:06:26.188-07:00Everything looks wonderful!
