What Is It?

Found this guy while I was watering this morning. Looks just like a stick and moves like an inch worm. Click on photo for a larger view.


If you know what it is please let me know if I should set it free or not.

    LOL Kelli! I'll only set it free in my vegetable garden if it's a good guy. If it's bad I'll set it free in the front yard.. maybe :-)

    I always loved coming across those when I was younger!! So cool! Lately all I find are the little green inch worms. Haven't seen one of those in YEARS. :)

    Found one of these whilst cutting a blackberry bush down that has overgrown the garden.

    Never seen one before and didnt have a clue what is might be.

    Thanks for the heads up, Any idea what they eat? My daughter would like to see it grow but dont want to kill it if its just a moth.

    One of these guys had stuck himself to my sweatshirt for a while before I noticed him. Tried to brush it off thinking it was a stick and was terrified when it started moving.

    I'm not very good at nature :P
