Garden News
Walking through the garden yesterday I came upon my first mini bell pepper. When he grows up he'll be a lovely shade of red.
As I was checking out the spaghetti squash...
I found this guy...
Not sure what it is but I can tell you it's just a shell. So did this guy shed his skin or was he a host to some parasitic insect?
When I find out I'll let you know.
I don't have anything planned for the garden this weekend. Mother Nature has turned on the sprinklers and her timer is set to turn them off some time Sunday.
The only thing more satisfying than seeing your seeds germinate is seeing those first fruit. Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteCheryl,
ReplyDeleteSo true, so true.
Now lets hope they make it to harvest.

ReplyDeleteHI Sis,
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is a bee... but when I find out I'll post it.

That bug looks like the one you showed me over spring break (I think)... really weird! Anyway, things look really good! I'm excited to come home and see everything on a more frequent basis. :) (And, of course, eat some of it, too.)
ReplyDeleteI hope everything else is going well! I miss everyone!
Annie
Annie!
ReplyDeleteYes that is the same bug I showed you. I still don't know what it is. All the lettuce we have been eating is really good. You're going to love it! See you soon and we miss you much!
