Lots of Photos Not Many Words

Saturday I gave everything a deep watering since we were going to have temps in the upper 80's low 90's this weekend. Before watering I took some photos.

Photos Below: The banana tree puts out a new leaf about every two weeks.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a banana pup poking out of the soil.

Photo Below: EG over at Our Engineered Garden asked me how I was going to keep the zucchini from over taking the bush beans... well this is what I came up with... White wrought iron fence.

The butterhead lettuce is just about ready to pick.

Onions and garlic.

Photo Below: The spinach "Oriental Giant" in bed 4 has bolted. I'm going to try this one again in the Fall. It was very good.

  2. Granny,

Pretty slugs... not! I found a few of them and they were all thrown in to the city's yard waste can.... off to the dump they go ;-)
