Planted 4 cherry tomatoes, 2 bush tomatoes, 48 carrots and 16 spring onions in bed 1...photo below.
Planted three more squares of onions, another square of garlic and two squares of Japanese spinach in bed 4... photo below.
While I was planting two more squares of baby spinach in bed 3 I noticed the baby spinach in squares 1 and 2 are starting to sprout. I planted them on March 1st. photo below.
Sweet husband put up the trellises for the cucumbers on bed 2... photo below. I still need to find a new home for the celery.
I also planted three more strawberries in a window box that is hanging on the fence between beds 2 and 3
Before heading into the greenhouse to start corn, more cucumbers and basil seeds I wanted to figure out how to cover the tomatoes. It's going to get down to about 36 tonight. This is what we came up with. It's the best we could do with the arch. I'm hoping the heat coming off the fence will keep them warm enough to get through the night.

We will have sun for the next 7 days. We did have some light frost this morning. Everything was covered but the basil. They suffered a little frost bite. We may get a little frost in the morning (wed) again so I covered the basil this time just to be on the safe side. Everything seems to be doing ok. I've had some more potatoes sprout in the last 24 hours! I'll post more photos this weekend.
